The Beachcomber Beach Resort and Hotel is located in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida and can rightly claim to occupy one the greatest beaches in Florida. Though the beach with its powdery white sand is astounding, there are plenty of activities, including live music on the beach, available to enjoy on the six acres of lush tropical gardens. There are two crystalline pools, fitness facility, game room, wireless internet access and guest laundry. Jimmy B’s Beach Bar overlooks the private beach area and provides food and beverages in a casual environment. The Player’s Sports Bar is located inside the hotel, and with its 32 televisions and 2 HD “Def” Wide Screens is paradise for the sports enthusiast. By the way, if your game cannot be located on a set, your first drink is on the house.
Nearby are the Fort De Soto Park and the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum which are some of the more popular tourist’s destinations in the area. The Tampa International Airport is merely 26 miles away from the hotel, and the Clearwater/St. Petersburg Airport is nearby.
