Playa Del Sol Costa Sur is located on the south end of Banderas Bay and encompasses all the natural beauty that you would expect on the south coast of Puerto Vallarta. The resort is just a ten minute drive from Malecon, a mile long oceanfront boardwalk that is lined with fine restaurants, exquisite shops, you might even find yourself enjoying an impromptu performance by one of the local bands. There are an abundance of activities to choose from. You could find yourself whale watching, swimming with dolphins, four wheeling, hiking in the jungle, deep sea fishing, or going on an eco-tour. Puerto Vallarta is known as a World class art Mecca, and there are organized art walks through the local galleries.

Playa Del Sol Costa Sur is a 208 all-suite resort and spa that has two swimming pools, a fitness center, a mini-mart, a boutique, an internet center, a private lagoon (built for a safe ocean swim), and more. The suites are decorated to make you feel at home, with Mexican tiles, lively colors and are very spacious. The queen studio suite is designed for two adults and two children and all of them have a view of the ocean.

All suites have a fully equipped kitchen complete with a refrigerator, stove, garbage disposal, coffee maker, blender, microwave, utensils, cookware, and table settings. There are many services available to ensure you relax while you’re here; including massages, room service, maid service, baby sitting, a concierge, and a laundry service.

The resort has an excellent on site restaurant, La Cascada, which serves international and Mexican seafood cuisine. There are also two bars with thatched roofs, overlooking the bay, that serve cool tropical drinks, and to keep you comfortable, cabanas and umbrellas are available at the pool and down at the beach.
